The Shootout game is played for a maximum of 4 rounds. Each round consists of the following steps in order: 1. The leader draws one ability card from the draw pile and adds it to their hand with the other cards. 2. The leader then chooses one ability card from their hand and plays it face up on the game area. 3. The other players play one ability card from their hand face down. (At this point, each player has one card in front of them.) 4. Players with face-down cards turn them face up. 5. Then all players with the same cards turn their cards face down. 6. Now evaluate the ability of each played card (face up) from the lowest value to the highest (from 1 to 8). 7. The player with the highest strength takes or keeps the leader card.
