One of the world's most popular board games. Players embark on journeys with their followers through fields, cities, and monasteries in search of fortune around the city of Carcassonne. The appearance of the landscape is in their hands, and the strategic placement of followers, whether farmers, robbers, monks, or knights, determines the path to success. Players take turns laying down landscape cards. Roads, cities, fields, and monasteries are formed, on which players can place their figures to collect points. Points are counted both during the game and at the end, so the winner is only known after the final tally.
