Beschreibung
"Square" is a satirical improvisational card party game for four or more players. It is played in individual rounds, called "functional periods." In each functional period, one player represents the president, the player to their left is the president's spokesperson, and all other players are journalists. The president chooses a speech topic, and after the opponents play cards/statements that must be used in the speech, they deliver it. Journalists then ask unnecessary and provocative follow-up questions that the spokesperson must respond to quickly, even if they are not worthy of it at all. If their answers annoy the journalists and they award them shame points, all the better. When a journalist boos, the spokesperson is satisfied.
