Renowned Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi, in his second film made under forced house arrest, transforms into a taxi driver who, through conversations with various clients, offers a finely critical view of Iranian society. The filmmaker raises the question of how an artist should behave in a country that does not allow him freedom of expression, without any self-pity and with disarming humor. With a camera mounted behind the windshield of his car, Panahi created a film more eloquent than many socio-political studies. A film full of quiet but deep indignation, which rightfully brought home the top prize - the Golden Bear - from Berlinale 2015.
