A crime in the world of talking animals? And a blind detective? Well, bless my soul!
Mole would like to make a name for himself in the field of detective work, but so far he has a reputation as a bumbling fool because he is... uh... blind, just like the saying goes. When the fragrant Miss Ježková from the better forest society hires him for the case of a lost roll of toilet paper, the poor detective has no idea what kind of mess he is about to get into. It's a ruse, and they pin the kidnapping of the esteemed Mr. Hedgehog on him! The tribunal, chaired by the dear Deer, throws the poor Mole into jail – but he is afraid of confined spaces and digs his way out! Would an alliance with the lisping Captain Otter, the ruffian Rejsek, help him escape, or should he confront the informant Raccoon? And what about the oddball Frog, almost as quirky as in Kenneth Grahame's tale? Either way, to prevent the conspirators from insidiously taking over the forest, the timid hero must finally overcome his childhood fears and fully trust his sense of smell.
A tough school of Chandler-esque style and British humor have met in a Czech children's detective story to tackle the evils in the animal kingdom. And we will enjoy this comedy from the front row.
