It looks like the end, but maybe it's more of a beginning! In Moomin Valley, word spreads that a comet is hurtling toward the world. Moomintroll, Sniff, and Snufkin do not hesitate and bravely set out to find the observatory in the Abandoned Mountains to find out if the end of everything really threatens. During their adventurous journey, they encounter a dried-up sea and other strange phenomena, but also a charming Miss Ferka, who particularly confuses Moomintroll. Unfortunately, the news of the disaster is confirmed, and so the valley begins to prepare for the end of the world, moving a multi-tiered cake and making other preparations.
