Vladimír Mišík - NIGHT IMAGE Vladimír Mišík, whose recent album "Once I Meet You" won six Anděl awards and received excellent reviews, is releasing a new studio album titled "Night Image" in September 2021. He collaborated once again with producer Petr Ostrouchov and his band Blue Shadows, just as he did for the previous album. The album's repertoire consists of Mišík's own lyrics and musical adaptations of poems by Jan Skácel, Václav Hrabě, Jiří Orten, and František Hrubín. The music is composed by Petr Ostrouchov and Vladimír Mišík. The final track of the album is the song "Thank You," created from the text of a poem by the recently deceased David Stypka. The new album features a number of rare international guests, such as the Blind Boys of Alabama, Jerry Douglas, Irish stars Davy Spillane and Dónal Lunny, Paul Simon's band percussionist Jamey Haddad, and mandolinist Mike Marshall, along with domestic musicians like organist Ondřej Pivec, pianist Jan Steinsdörfer, saxophonist František Kop, and world-renowned horn player Radek Baborák with his ensemble. Guest vocalists who recorded with Mišík include Lenka Dusilová, Robert Křesťan, Lenka Nová, Markéta Foukalová, and a trio of New York gospel vocalists. Tracklist: Step by Step...
