Composer Daniel Fikejz wrote eleven new songs for his second solo album Santiago, complemented by one old song from 1974. Today, a globally respected composer of theatrical music, he writes – perhaps thanks to his passion for discovering new sounds, instruments, and technical innovations – songs that do not resemble any singer-songwriter style. It seems that in his unique musical expression, as he admits, he is inspired not only by the domestic art of Petr Skoumal but also by the persistent influence of Frank Zappa.
