NOP 1 - CD

The band NOP consists of three distinctive and unmistakable musical personalities. The letter N belongs to Norbi Kovács, a phenomenal guitarist who has played with Radůza, Petr Skoumal, and Mário Bihár. He is currently a member of Ivan Hlas Trio and Lokomotiva. He also composes film music and is a photographer. The letter O is represented by rock cellist, bassist, and singer Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba, known to fans of the bands Marsyas, Etc…, Čundrgrund, or Blues Session. He currently performs with Ivan Hlas or the band Kybabu. The letter P is occupied by violinist Pavel Fischer, a graduate of the Prague Conservatory and co-founder of the Škampa Quartet, with which he regularly performed on the most significant stages worldwide. He is now focused on teaching, collaborating with Iva Bittová, the ensemble Bardolino, and accordionist Jakub Jedlinský. The shared repertoire of the NOP trio knows no boundaries, spanning a wide arc from Hungarian folklore through Irish ballads to Moravian folk songs, and it also includes their own compositions. For their first album, they selected a collection of proven concert pieces that transform into pure and condensed joy of music in their rendition.
