The Gera Band has recorded only one album - Fata Morgana - which is being released for the first time in a reissue after thirty-five years and also for the first time on compact disc. One of the most creative jazz quartets (trumpeter Michal Gera, saxophonist Václav Bratrych, bassist Vít Švec, and drummer Jaromír Helešic) on the Czechoslovak jazz scene recorded a collection of six proven compositions by their bandleader in 1985, which definitely do not succumb to fashion trends.
