In June 1974, Jaroslav Hutka recorded private studio versions of several of his songs. The recording rested in the archive for four decades, and now the publisher has compiled a double album of twenty-six songs primarily from the beginnings of Hutka's songwriting career. The most famous songs set to melodies by Donovan or Dylan, with charming lyrics by Zora Růžová (Stop Now Like a King, Sweet Yellow, Quack Quack, My Sun, etc.), are complemented by lyrical songs (White Paper, Strand) as well as pieces responding to the events of the late 1960s and the onset of normalization (Light and Shadow, Snowdrop, People of the Twentieth Century). Unintentionally, the double album also becomes a kind of tribute to the distinctive and overlooked lyrics of Zora Růžová.
