A dog is said to be man's best friend... So why is there such an uproar when Peter's wife suddenly starts behaving... like a dog? She growls, wakes neighbors at night with her barking, and sometimes even seems like she would like to bite. This strange psychological state has lasted for several weeks, and Peter doesn't know what to do. His friends comfort him that having a dog for a wife isn't such a loss, because being devotedly loved, as only a dog can do, is not so bad, but accepting such a metamorphosis of his beloved is still a tough pill to swallow.
