Director Eddie Israel entrusts the lead roles of a married couple in crisis to popular personalities (Madonna, James Russo) in his partially autobiographical film 'Mother of Mirrors.' Eddie pushes the actors to portray their roles as authentically as possible. The script thus becomes a work filled with moral decay, cocaine, and occasional sexual affairs. Above all, however, it offers a truly sad glimpse into the depraved backstage of the film industry.
