Against the Shadow is the first expansion for the card game from the world of The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring. In the Against the Shadow expansion, you can enjoy this adventure solo or alongside teammates. You will control the Free Peoples and use the rules and cards from the base game of War of the Ring. The Shadow decks, which you will completely replace with cards from this expansion designed for solo/cooperative play, are controlled by automated players. Along with a simple diagram, these new Shadow card decks provide a greater challenge for one or two players. This is your chance to shape the fate of an entire age... alone or with your friends!
