Galactic Alliance (Age of Galaxy) is a strategic game following Age of Civilization. In this pocket-sized 4X game, you control an interstellar alliance made up of 3 factions with unique abilities, which you shape over 5 game rounds. You can produce resources, advance on the tech tree, and perform various actions that bring not only victory points but also other advantages. Explore new systems, colonize planets and develop them, research technologies, study and trade, dominate the galactic council, or build cruisers and gain an edge in armament. You decide how to conquer the entire galaxy. There are many paths to victory depending on the combination of abilities and the main ideology of your alliance. You have the option to combine different faction cards. How you assemble them is up to you. Which of the five ideologies will be yours? The Science faction is committed to lifelong research of new technologies, believing that knowledge is the only way forward. The Militarism faction are ruthless aggressors who conquer by force and see wars as a means to an end. The Diplomacy faction prefers relationships between factions, acting tactfully while competing for the position of chair of the galactic council.
