You must decide whether to create small expeditions for quick progress or larger, more efficient expeditions that require more preparation time. The community of adventurers includes a variety of characters and continents. Throughout each game, you will use only a portion of the game content, providing interesting interactions and combinations that will make you want to play repeatedly. On each of your turns, you either recruit a new explorer or start an expedition using cards of the same color or the same character. Choose your expedition leader wisely: they will determine which continent you explore and provide you with a special ability for that expedition.
