This 140-gram blue-vinyl album by Poletíme? brings together wild and gentle, rock and big-band sounds, with the band’s characteristically original poetry, humour and infectious energy. Hvězdy těžký to maj is the group’s first new album in six years, following the live recording Best of do gramofonu, released in 2023 to mark 15 years on the scene. The band led by Rudolf Brančovský gradually previewed the new material through singles and videos, including Můžeš mi říct, Už nechci bejt muzikant and the title song. While their distinctive wildness remains intact, the overall sound is more energetic, dynamic and, in places, more rock-oriented. The album was produced by the band at MaMu studio, recorded and mixed by Jiří Topol Novotný and mastered by Broněk Šmíd. Its graphic design comes from the London-based graphic artist and photographer Tomáš Vostrejž. The tracklist includes Hvězdy těžký to maj, Poníci, Princezna, Nehlaď mě proti srsti, V noci jsou písničky potišejší, Hendmejdmjůzik, Potetovaná, Konec světa, Holka s bosejma nohama, Mo, Vrtulka, Můj pejsek and Už nechci bejt muzikant.
