Synopsis
Spoiled Prince Ludvík Otomar Karel XII has lived a sheltered life in a castle with his doting mother, Queen Ludmila, until his wise father, King Radomil, sends him on a journey to gain life experience. Despite being 39 years old, Ludvík is fearful, uninterested in marriage, and spends most of his time lounging in luxury. Suddenly awakened in a forest dressed in ordinary clothes, he is accompanied by the tough Knight Hudroval on a great adventure to learn about life and hopefully mature. Along the way, Ludvík encounters powerful wizards, evil witches, ghosts, and even Lady Death, possibly finding the love of his life. The film features Jana Nagyová as Queen Ludmila, reprising her iconic role from the legendary Arabela series after nearly 30 years. Both Ludvík's mother and father will be left to react to these new experiences and see if their son can finally grow up.
