A witty and enlightening narrative about both fairy tale and everyday matters, featuring devils, miracles, as well as ordinary human weaknesses and cunning. The visual interpretation of puppet stories perfectly captures the humor and atmosphere of the "Fimfárum" tales, including "When the Oak Leaves Fall," "Franta Nebojsa," "A Dream Come True," and "Greedy Barka," which Jan Werich narrated on a gramophone record in the 1960s and published in book form under the title Fimfárum.
