Zlota Kolekcja. Jan Pawel II. Album 3. Bog bogaty w milosierdzie 2x DVD
Synopsis
The Holy Father's last pilgrimage to his homeland lasted only a few days, yet it remained forever in the memory of Poles and the whole world. Its main theme was the entrusting of Poland and the world to Divine Mercy. "Jesus, I trust in you," the Pope said in his homily delivered at the Łagiewniki sanctuary. He said the words that people consider to be the credo of his pontificate, because they contain the hope flowing from the message of Divine Mercy for Poland and the world.
At Krakow's Blonie Park, in the presence of more than 2 million faithful, the Holy Father elevated four Poles to the glory of the altars: Archbishop Zygmunt Szczęsny Felinski, Father Jan Beyzym SJ, Sister Sanacja Szymkowiak and Father Jan Balicki. In his homily, he admonished those most in need: "It takes a look of love to see next to one's brother who, with the loss of a job, a roof over his head, the possibility of providing for his family with dignity and educating his children, experiences a sense of abandonment, loss and hopelessness. There is a need for imagination and mercy". The Pope recalled Kalwaria Zebrzydowska immediately after his arrival in Poland, speaking of the spiritual strength he drew from praying on the Calvary paths years ago. The material presented here includes a film account of Pope John Paul II's last pilgrimage to Poland. It is a reminder of the extraordinary days the Holy Father spent with his compatriots in his homeland.
