Synopsis
In July 1917, a battle took place near Zborov in Ukraine, in which the Czechoslovak legionnaires, until then scattered on the Eastern Front, fought as an army unit for the first time. The full-length film Zborov captures, through the fates of several characters, a series of events that preceded the battle. Above all, however, it stands out for its reconstruction of war battles, which will stand up even to today's viewers.
