Synopsis
Helena Altmanová, a charming high school French and literature teacher, is beloved by students and colleagues alike. However, her private life is full of surprises, from living with her ex-husband, a successful writer, to dealing with her widowed sister's issues, her son's marital troubles, and her grandmother's late love. Despite her busy life, Helena unexpectedly meets František, an emergency doctor, and falls deeply in love. This sparks a turbulent story filled with passion, breakups, and reunions, further complicated by partners and family members. This successful Czech comedy, starring Kamila Magálová, Oldřich Kaiser, Jiří Bartoška, and Eva Holubová, draws from the screenwriter and director Marie Poledňáková's own experiences and those of her friends and family.
