Synopsis
Helena, a forty-year-old renowned expert on marital issues, suddenly finds herself in a situation similar to those she helps her patients navigate. She discovers her once loving and beloved husband in flagrante with a younger woman, leaving Helena at the threshold of a new life. Her twenty-year-old daughter Laura wants to support her mother while also dealing with the challenges of her first real love. To Helena's dismay, her mother Vilma, a former actress with an unconventional approach to life, also offers a helping hand. Vilma, the eccentric lady, has a guaranteed recipe: replace a messy man with a decent one. It seems impossible, but to the surprise of Helena and Laura, there are still men worth diving headfirst into a romantic adventure with. These three very different women realize how much they are alike and that to resolve their issues, they need perspective, humor, and to never lose their heads or hope.
