Synopsis
Ivan Trojan stars in this black comedy about an extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary bureaucrat during the normalization era, who accidentally signed Charter 77 while drunk, making him an unwilling hero. It's 1980, and ever since Richard drunkenly and mistakenly signed Charter 77, trouble and bad luck have been following him everywhere. Today is the peak of it all! He has a dentist appointment in the afternoon, which he dreads, but before that, he experiences a series of much bigger catastrophes. These include a work deadline, a marriage-minded colleague who didn't understand it was just a flirtation, his boss's ultimatum to retract his signature from the Charter, a broken riser at home hiding an old rusty gun, unexpected fatherhood of a fifteen-year-old son, and the omnipresent shadow of a state security agent assigned to him. It's a day full of calamities that could make him lose everything or finally find himself.
