Synopsis
The First World War has just ended, and in a remote town somewhere in Central Europe, Mayor Dangl begins to dream big. He plans to join the town with the United States and rename it Wilson City (in honor of his friend, President Woodrow Wilson). Everything is going smoothly, except for one pesky problem: a mysterious killer is said to be on the loose. Victims have their tongues bitten off and die of fright even before any actual attack occurs. The local police force is baffled, so the mayor asks for help from across the ocean. Wilson himself immediately sends an FBI agent. The FBI has specialists for mafias, drugs, communists, socialists, and other riffraff, and they also have an expert on mythology and mysticism. That expert is Aaron Food (Jiří Macháček), a man in a long coat and hat he rarely removes. Raised by a Czech nursemaid, he has solved 513 murders worldwide and is now here to help Wilson City. To keep him from getting lost, he is paired with a young police trainee, Josef Eisner (Vojtěch Dyk). The thrilling hunt for the mad killer begins.
