Synopsis
The DVD includes a selection of 10 editions of the cinema newsreel "Week in Film" from the years 1970–1979. Each edition consists of several brief reports from various areas of contemporary social events - politics, economy, science, culture, and sports. The mosaic of film reports, with its choice of topics and style of processing, from today's perspective, sometimes depicts the somewhat bizarre atmosphere of our communist past. These newsreels, which used to be shown in cinemas before every film screening, now become valuable testimonies of their time for us.
