Synopsis
War can only be survived with the songs of Suchý and Šlitr. In this comedy, newly arrived soldiers establish a musical theater ensemble to escape humiliation from the older ones. They vow to treat the next newcomers kindly. However, they soon realize that without discipline, nothing can be achieved, and cunning is not some deviant aberration. Alongside excellent musical numbers, this film is filled with gags from the military environment. It also marks the first appearance of the famous duo Suchý and Šlitr.
