Vitana Whole Cloves (hřebíček) bring a bold, warming aroma with a spicy-sweet, slightly fruity taste and a gentle peppery finish. Made from dried unopened flower buds of the clove tree, they're perfect for flavoring marinades, hearty stews, sauces and pickling, as well as desserts, compotes, mulled wine and traditional Christmas baking. Use whole cloves to infuse dishes and drinks, then remove before serving for a clean, balanced flavor.
Preparation Instructions:
Use whole cloves to gently infuse flavor in soups, stews, marinades, compotes, desserts, or mulled wine.
Add during cooking and remove before serving, or grind in a spice grinder for a stronger, more even seasoning.
