Bring the taste of traditional Czech Kulajda to your table with this creamy dill and mushroom soup base. Made to deliver that classic home-style flavor, it cooks quickly and easily—just add water and milk for a comforting, velvety soup. For an even more authentic serving, enrich it with boiled potatoes and top with poached eggs, the way Kulajda is often enjoyed in Czech cuisine.
Preparation Instructions:
1. Pour 350 ml of water and 150 ml of milk into a pot and bring to a boil.
2. Add the soup paste from the container and stir continuously while simmering for 8 minutes.
3. For a heartier soup, add 2 chopped boiled potatoes and cook briefly together.
4. For a traditional finish, serve with two poached eggs. (Poaching tip: Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to 1 liter of boiling water, crack the eggs in gently, and simmer for about 4 minutes.)
