Vitana Dried Thyme (tymián) is a richly aromatic herb with a pleasantly sweet yet slightly sharp taste, with notes reminiscent of camphor and cloves. Carefully dried leaves and blossoms make it an excellent seasoning for game, poultry, minced meats, classic Czech sauces, stuffings, pâtés, cheeses, and herb butter. It's especially great in chicken stuffing, tomato-based sauces, and soups, and it blends perfectly with oregano and basil to add depth to pizza and pasta. Its subtle sharpness also pairs beautifully with grilled, roasted, or steamed fish.
Preparation Instructions:
Use as a seasoning to taste during cooking.
Add to sauces, soups, stuffings, meat dishes, fish, and tomato-based recipes.
For best aroma, add towards the end of cooking or gently warm in fat at the start.
