The lyrical film about the first emotional fascination of a young girl is the middle of a free trilogy created by Karel Kachyňa in collaboration with screenwriter Jan Procházka (other "works" were the films Trapeni / Trouble from 1961 and Vysoka zed / The High Wall from 1964).
