Synopsis
Honza is a typical nineteen-year-old from Ústí nad Labem, deeply in love with his girlfriend Terezka. After his father's tragic death, Honza grows up with his mother and little brother Lukášek, facing financial struggles due to debt collectors. Determined to help, Honza takes a summer job at a luxury hotel in Karlovy Vary instead of going on a romantic holiday. He works tirelessly as a dishwasher and waiter, sending his earnings to his family. At a party, he clashes with René, a wealthy golfer, leading to a job at a golf club where he meets PR manager Alice. Rediscovering his talent for golf, Honza's success begins but strains his relationships and leads to a serious injury. Alice ends their relationship and contract, leaving Honza to start anew.
