Synopsis
The story follows detective Josef (Tomáš Maštalír) from the Ostrava homicide division, who is penalized with an annual review of cold cases after using illegal methods to catch a brutal killer. During this routine task, Josef uncovers the case of 18-year-old Eva, who was strangled in her apartment 20 years ago. With only 16 days left before the statute of limitations expires, Josef becomes determined to solve the case. His relentless pursuit of justice pushes him once again to the edge of legality as he seeks to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.
