Synopsis
Police negotiator Dano Andrik becomes entangled in a political negotiation crisis at the cardiology department, where both the Minister of Defense and Dano's pregnant girlfriend Lenka are present. To free her along with the patients and staff, Dano must navigate the demands of the unpredictable hostage-taker Korňan on one side and the pressures from the highest political echelons on the other. Time is running out, and Dano must quickly decide whether to follow orders from the top or help the hostage-taker clear his name. The eight-part co-production series "Ultimatum" was entirely filmed in Slovakia during two waves of the pandemic. It marks the first-ever co-production between Czech Television and TV JOJ.
