Synopsis
Three men, two chairmen, and false reports feature in this Czech film comedy about the life of working people. In the small house in Ouplavice, three Potůček men manage their household: the widowed grandfather, his son whose wife has left him, and the still-single grandson. The father serves as the chairman of the agricultural cooperative, the son leads the local youth group, and the retired grandfather provides them with a wealth of wise advice through the pipe he is always smoking. They are currently dealing with a lot of issues. Their village is competing with neighboring Piskoř, and their opponents are using dishonest tactics...
