Synopsis
Young English nobleman Richard Bancroft (R. Hrušínský Jr.) finds himself in Prague during a business trip with his uncle Archibald (P. Nárožný). There, he meets the mysterious beauty Olivia (I. Bartošová) and immediately falls in love with her. He gladly accepts an invitation to a masquerade ball hosted by her guardian, Count Kronberg (V. Preiss). However, Richard gradually realizes that he only sees Olivia and her friends at night. The revelation of this mystery comes quickly – Count Kronberg rules over a large group of vampires at his estate, who prey on innocent victims, including Richard. The fight against these bloodthirsty creatures is even more challenging because not all methods for killing vampires from books are effective. Fortunately, Olivia has also fallen in love with Richard…
