Synopsis
The film Wishes for Sale narrates tales of various forms of love in a poetic, playful, and humorous manner. It follows the misadventures of teenage Albert, who finds himself head over heels – albeit unrequitedly – in love with his best friend's sister. It delves into the love between Albert's parents, portrayed by a variety magic duo experiencing a midlife crisis. Additionally, it explores parental love, as Bosák Junior, a heartbreaker and a ladies' man, tries to gain the attention and affection of his father, a powerful hotelier. Ultimately, Albert and everyone else realize that happiness doesn't require magic and spells but rather the courage to change things for the better. However, this doesn't mean that real magic and enchantment don't exist...
