Synopsis
The Stolen Airship (Ukradená vzducholoď) is a fantastical adventure by legendary Czech director Karel Zeman, inspired by the works of Jules Verne. Set during the 1891 Prague Jubilee Exhibition, five boys accidentally take off in a supposedly steerable airship — only to find themselves drifting across Europe and crashing on a mysterious island. Combining live action with Zeman’s signature animation and imaginative visuals, the film delivers a magical tale of courage, discovery, and youthful curiosity in true Verne style.
