The Star Goes to the South / Hvezda jede na jih DVD
Synopsis
A large Prague orchestra is traveling by train to a music festival in Yugoslavia. However, the singer Soňa Klánová misses the departure. She manages to buy a plane ticket to Belgrade from Mrs. Navrátilová, who decided not to travel. Meanwhile, the orchestra's conductor is in despair. He calls Prague from the border and learns that Soňa left home in a taxi, believing she would catch up with them by road. The conductor delays the train's departure with an impromptu concert for customs officers and passengers. Soňa does not arrive in time, and the orchestra misses their ship in Split, having to take another one. Soňa is mistakenly picked up from the airport by a driver named Drago, who was waiting for Mrs. Navrátilová. After explaining the situation, Drago decides to take the beautiful singer all the way to the coast. The orchestra and the singer miss each other several times along the way, but eventually, they all meet happily and start the festival with a grand parade.
