Synopsis
A Czech short puppet film, which successfully incorporates a segment acted by live actors. In a toymaker's workshop, a Gestapo officer bursts in, aiming to arrest the owner. The toymaker quickly escapes, leaving the toys to confront the unwelcome guest. Infuriated by his failure, the officer begins to destroy the toys, but they rise up against him and declare war. Through their united effort and clever tactics, which prove more effective than the officer's gun, they manage to drive the brutish Nazi out. Alongside its humorous and grotesque plot, this puppet film from the Zlín production group conveys a positive message that is easily understood by even the youngest viewers.
