Synopsis
The tranquil life of a small town is disrupted by the arrival of actress Erna di Garmo, the star of the operetta "The Red Lizard," who causes a sensation at the local theater in Pěnice. Her name becomes linked to the mysterious disappearance of esteemed high school professor Bláha, who was last seen with her before the performance. All that remains of Bláha is his hat floating on the water, with a love note addressed to "The Red Lizard" inside...
