Synopsis
Eliška and her young daughter return after many years to her husband's native village, hoping for a fresh start. While she receives a warm welcome from the neighbors, she also encounters a local eccentric woman burdened by a tragic past. As Eliška faces loneliness and is gradually worn down by endless bureaucratic hurdles, a web of curses begins to weave around her. Will Eliška manage to save herself and her daughter from the mysterious evil before they are completely overtaken by the shadow of the Polednice or her own madness?
