Synopsis
The wandering student Martin volunteers to heal Princess Adriana, who suffers from a mysterious illness. Unbeknownst to him, the princess is under the control of the powerful sorcerer Aldobrandini, who is preparing a rejuvenating elixir from the blood of nine human hearts. Will Martin be able to defeat the sorcerer? The film shared a budget and some sets with "Beauty and the Beast." In Studio No. 6 at Barrandov, architect Vladimír Labský created a multifunctional set that was also used in the films "Beauty and the Beast," "The Secret of Steel City," and "The Cat Prince."
