Synopsis
Muž, který lže (The Man Who Lies) is a mysterious psychological drama set in a remote mountain village just after the war. To Ján’s family, he tells vivid stories about his friend’s fate — until his lies intertwine with passion, deceit, and desire. As Boris seduces both Sylvia and Laura, reality and illusion blur into one. When Ján suddenly returns, the truth behind Boris’s tales is finally revealed. Synopsis
Set in the mysterious Café Eden, a group of university students gathers to perform ironic yet passionate improvisations about love and violence. When an enigmatic foreigner named Duchemin arrives, fantasy and reality begin to merge. The story leads a young woman on a surreal journey to the Tunisian island of Djerba, where she meets Duchemin, her friends, and a waiter named Franz — all entangled in a dreamlike hunt for a painting that seems to cost each of them their life. A poetic, symbolic film blending adventure, imagination, and psychological intrigue.
