Synopsis
In the town of Vinegaroon, Judge Roy Bean enforces his own harsh version of the law, with hanging or shooting as the punishment for various offences. Played by Paul Newman and directed by John Huston, Bean declares himself judge of everything west of the Pecos, writes admiring letters to actress Lillie Langtry, and enters gunfights in her name.
