Synopsis
After being released from prison, Zuzana is determined to start anew. Incarcerated due to her involvement in car theft orchestrated by her friend Rony—who then betrayed her—she refuses his offer of a ride upon release, opting instead to hitchhike home with two truckers, Juraj and his associate Vápno. Upon her arrival, Zuzana finds her mother has moved away, leaving behind unopened letters Zuzana had sent from prison. With no other options, she reluctantly joins Rony, who waits outside her home, and heads to his roadhouse—a hangout for truckers and prostitutes managed by an eccentric woman known as “mama kami.” There, Zuzana reunites with Juraj and Vápno. Despite Rony's persistent claims on her, Zuzana and Juraj begin to form a connection. Rony sends Juraj to Russia for a shady deal involving counterfeit vodka, with Zuzana as his companion. The trip brings them closer, and upon their return, a chance encounter with a prominent Czech producer at the roadhouse offers Juraj a new opportunity in Prague, leaving behind his past—including Zuzana.
