Synopsis
The Holy Scripture says that in the beginning of all life on Earth, there was darkness and the Lord God. In this animated film, the Lord God is depicted as endearingly absent-minded with much work ahead of him. To avoid working alone, he got himself an egg, which he diligently warmed until angels hatched from them. However, from the last speckled egg, a mischievous little devil emerged. Once his helpers were assembled, God needed light for his next tasks. He tried to strike a lighter to no avail, as it never worked. Thus, the Creator had to use the famous trick of proclaiming, "Let there be light!" With light created, and with the help of the angels, God began the creation process, which the unruly little devil constantly disrupted with inexhaustible wit and an endless array of brilliant ideas. The devil had the most fun when God started creating man. While God closely supervised the creation of Adam, the devil immediately spoiled Eve by teaching her to dance to rock 'n' roll—in fact, the very first rock 'n' roll ever heard in a Czech film...
