Synopsis
A dramatic and suspenseful story unfolds just a few months before the end of World War II. American and Soviet agents are desperately searching for a German decoding device used by the Germans to decipher Soviet ciphers, giving them access to information about the American atomic bomb, which Soviet spies are sending from Los Alamos to Moscow. Unbeknownst to the Germans, among their codebreakers operating the secret device in the cellar of an old castle is a brave Polish agent named Jorg. He is not alone in his efforts to thwart the Germans' plans, but the Nazis remain cunning and formidable opponents. The Soviet NKVD is equally determined to seize the secret device. As the war rages on, everyone in the German-occupied territory continues to fight their life-and-death battles.
