Sweet Sixteen / Sextanka DVD
Synopsis
Student Eva Martenová, in her sixth year of secondary school, falls in love with her new young teacher, Jiří Hron. She finds it hard to focus in his classes, even though she usually excels in her studies. During a school trip, Professor Bruncvíková tries to get Hron's attention, but he ends up dancing with Eva at the party. Back at school, Eva is distracted and refuses to give Bruncvíková a portrait of Hron. Upset, she goes to Hron's office, where he tries to comfort her. Professor Bernard, who has already criticized Hron's modern teaching methods, sees them and reports to the headmaster that Hron was embracing Eva. When Eva learns that Hron is facing disciplinary action because of her, she attempts suicide. However, her friend Martina's brother, Dr. Pavel Haler, rescues her. In the hospital, the exonerated Hron visits Eva and confesses his love for her.
