Synopsis
The debut of Zita Kabátová in Maryna Radoměrská's renowned novel, "The Light of His Eyes," serialized in the popular magazine Hvězda at the turn of 1934/1935, marked the beginning of her illustrious career. Overnight, the debutante soared to stardom, becoming one of the most beloved actresses of the 1930s and 1940s. This novel initiated Zita Kabátová's era, during which she portrayed nearly 40 leading roles. The narrative revolves around a devoted nurse and a young man from a respectable family struck by blindness, offering significant roles not only to Zita Kabátová but also to Jiří Dohnal, Jiří Steimar, and Václav Trégl. Audiences can also anticipate the presence of R.A. Dvorský and his Melody Boys.
